Despite the title of our third choice being “Top Secret Fat Loss Secret” this book written by Dr. Suzanne Gundakunstan is actually geared not only to helping people loss weight, but also how to detoxify the body and organs to flush out all the toxins that have been building up over the years that can cause a person to be not only fat, but severely unhealthy and diseased. She points out that we as a society aren’t fat because of poor eating habits and lack of exercise, but rather because the food and diet industry has been filling our foods with “unnatural” things that we aren’t supposed to have! Sounds crazy I know, but have you ever really read the ingredients on some of the foods you buy? Isn’t it amazing how we so trustingly buy and consume foods that contain ingredients that most of us with a college reading level couldn’t even pronounce? Just go to your pantry right now, grab something and I bet you’ll find a whole bunch of stuff in the ingredients that you really have no idea what your eating. And don’t even get started on all the hormones and antibiotics they inject in to our meat and dairy products.
