Quick Diet Loss – The Cabbage Soup Diet

A couple of weeks before Christmas I gave the Cabbage Soup Diet a go to try and lose a few pounds before the “Christmas Fest”. Not possibly the right attitude but hey I am sure am not the only one! You also get to eat a lot of fruit which I dont do very often.

Does it achieve quick diet loss? Well I have a confession I only stuck it for two days instead of the seven you are supposed to. I couldn’t stand the taste of the soup!! I am not sure then if this needs to be filed under the quick fix diets category. But for those of you who are more partial to cabbage here are a few more details;

If you have the soup before your meal you will consume less calories and the reason the cabbage soup diet does this is because it has a higher level of fibre.

From the large amount of information I have read regarding this diet it seems to give you a kick start when trying to lose weight.

If anyone out there has stuck it for more than two days give me a shout!
