But once that initial pleasure wears off, and the pain of change sinks in, pick up your spoon, and grab that carton of double chocolate espresso ice cream.
Here’s how to get around it. Make the initial changes slowly. If you’ve never worked out before, or haven’t for a while start with the absolute minimum you can manage. One or two push-ups or sit-ups. Maybe three or four minutes of yoga. And that’s it. Give your body and mind time to get used to the idea of working out.
The same goes with any change in eating habits. Make them as slow as possible. Force yourself to go slower than you want to. Trust me, you’ll catch up. Allow your taste buds to get used to eating foods that are much more healthy. It takes time, but it will happen.
Basically what you are doing is tricking yourself into thinking that eating healthy and exercise are normal and natural for you. And when you start getting used to them, add in some more. Add ten percent more push-ups or sit-ups in the morning every week. Add in one extra meal a week that is filled with nutrition, healthy fats, and void of any junk carbs like chicken breasts, olive oil, and avocados.
Once you train your mind and body that you are someone that exercises and eats healthy on a regular basis. Then you’ll know the secret of fast fat loss and the fastest way to lose weight. Slower is actually faster.
By avoiding all those fad diets, and avoiding the “all or nothing” mentality, you will avoid the yo-yo syndrome that discourages most people for their entire lives. And by doing that, you’ll be slim and trim much quicker than you ever thought possible.
